Our Beliefs
The Bible
The Bible is the supreme source of the truth for Christian beliefs and living. It was written by human authors, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.
God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three persons are the Trinity, they are equal and are one God.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He was born of a virgin as both God and man, and lived a sinless life. He died to atone for the sins of human beings, was buried and arose from the grave, ascended into heaven and will literally return to earth.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make mankind aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides Christians with power for living and understanding of spiritual truth and guidance.
Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement of good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ can we be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment we receive Christ into our life by faith.
Eternity
We were created to exist forever. We will exist eternally either in union with God through forgiveness and salvation or separated from God by sin. Eternity with Christ begins the moment you receive Christ. Once we pass from this life our place of eternal union and life with God is Heaven. Those who do not have Christ will spend eternity Separated from God in Hell.
Eternal Security
God give us eternal life through Jesus Christ. Because of this, the believer is secure in salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by self-effort. Therefore, we cannot lose it. God says, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
Baptism
Baptism (by immersion) is a one-time act of obedient identification with Jesus as Lord. A believer is baptized as an outward sign of his or her conscious confession of repentance and faith to Jesus Christ. It is a beautiful picture of the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Jesus Christ.

FAQs
Do I have to be a cowboy to come to cowboy church?
Not at all. There are people from all walks of life that have found a home at a cowboy church.
Is this a non-denominational church?
You will find folks worshiping together that are from various church backgrounds and many with no church background. We value one’s relationship with Jesus more than one’s relationship with a denomination. However, we also value churches cooperating together to fulfill the great commission. Therefore, we have chosen to be affiliated with the following organizations:
Arkansas Baptist State Convention
Northwest Baptist Association
We also thank the above organizations for supporting CPCC.
Will you have a service on a weekday instead of Sunday so that I can attend my present church and cowboy church?
No. Our intent is to reach unchurched folks and not to pull people from their current church. You will have to discern if God is calling you to be sent out from your church to CPCC.
